What it is

StepTrim is a Windows app prototype that optimises audio for Warzone: the sound, the headphone equaliser and a per-game profile, set up in a guided way.

It is based on ArtTuneDB. The original method needs an installer run as administrator and many manual steps: StepTrim gathers them into a single interface, readable while playing.

Who it is for

For PC first-person shooter players who care about audio, comfortable with their gear but not sound engineers.

What it does

  • A guided setup assistant that resumes after a restart.
  • A headphone equaliser built from a measurement.
  • Automatic profile switching depending on the detected game.
  • A diagnostic that finds and fixes conflicts with other audio software.
  • An interface in French and English.
